If you think that after three centuries of separation Comstar can manipulate the Clans as we try to do the Successor States you are a fool. Their tactics are nothing like that of the old Star League Defense Force, their so called honor is nothing like what is practiced in the Draconis Combine, their lack of concern for currency beyond what resources it can bring would make a Lyran merchant balk, and their technology is beyond anything we have managed to preserve through the Succession Wars. We do not understand who they are, what has shaped them, or even what distinguishes one Clan from another. If you attempt to sway them without knowing them they will kill us all. We must learn every nuance of their people we can in order to avert such a disaster.
